Dedication of the Fallen Soldier Monument on UM Missoula Campus on Oct. 26th

Join the University of Montana community on the afternoon of Saturday October 26th to dedicate the Fallen Soldier Monument as Montana’s official Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans’ Memorial. Governor Steve Bullock, Major General Matt Quinn, Grateful Nation Montana Co-founder David Bell and President Engstrom will speak briefly at the dedication. They will be joined by representatives of the University ROTC for a brief program.

The ceremony will take place 30 minutes after the end of the Montana Grizzly football game (which is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.).

Please honor military members who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan with your attendance. The monument is located just north of Don Anderson Hall and along historic Memorial Row.  A map of campus is available here.
